Brand & Publishing Systems
The client asked us to study the way in which employees were working when creating tender documents for new business. Our analysis uncovered a significant level of lost time which needed to be dealt with quickly.

The client’s brief was to look at the frustration that employees were expressing about certain types of documents when working in teams. We were also asked to look at the adherence to brand guidelines and to seek a way to ensure quality and consistency.
We carried out an extensive employee survey in conjunction with individual in-depth interviews to analyse the exact nature of time lost and the lack of efficiencies in creating proposals for important business pitches.
As a result of the lost time that we identified we proposed that a combination of better software systems and an in-house publishing department would give them the cost savings and efficiencies that they required, as well as providing higher quality output.
This was quite a radical proposal at the time. The client agreed with our proposal and, as a result, we developed an in-house publishing process which included setting up and resourcing a department that worked around the clock and serviced all global locations. In addition, we designed and implemented a templating system that we rolled out globally.
The project was very successful and we were able to undertake many such assignments for other organisations.
